Meet our lead team members!

Arnold G. Hyndman:
Arnold is the lead consultant for SLS. He has an A.B. from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Arnold has more than 30 years experience as a university researcher, instructor and administrator. He has taught courses and developed curriculum in leadership and leadership training, as well as authored publications in neuroscience and bioethics. He is a member of the International Leadership Society, International Mind Brain Society, Center of Bioethics and Human Dignity and the Society for Neuroscience. A past President of the New Jersey State Board of Education, Arnold is a sought out speaker on a variety of topics including leadership, organizational performance and school improvement and character education. He has expertise in leadership dynamics, organizational structure, strategic planning, governance issues and personnel enhancement strategies including problem solving skills, communication skills and planning.

Juliet M. Hyndman:
Juliet is a principal consultant for SLS. She has a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. Juliet has twenty years experience in individual instruction and educational skills enhancement. She has extensive experience in the development of local community and support groups with expertise in interpersonal dynamics within group settings and personal management.  Juliet also has insight in spatial design and workspace organization. As the owner of  The Perfect Touch, she provides consultation and creative service in event planning and floral design.

Michelle R. Jefferson:
Michelle is a consultant with SLS. She has a B.A. from Rutgers University in Sociology and Women Studies, a M.Ed in Leadership form Arcadia University, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Seton Hall University. Michelle has almost 20 years of experience in higher education administration and teaching. She has taught courses and developed curriculum in organizational leadership, building community and managing diversity. She is a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators. She has conducted numerous workshops and training sessions on diversity/cultural competency issues, leadership, mediation, student development, and values clarification. In addition, Michelle is a dynamic motivational speaker with interest in organizational change, leadership analysis, multicultural and gender issues, as well as, conflict resolution.

In addition, SLS enjoys a cooperative agreement with other consulting entities. Our associates have expertise in team management, cost analysis and grant writing.  As needed by our clients, we combine our expertise with that of our associates to provide a comprehensive range of services that are efficient and cost effective for both our individual and organizational clients.
